I used to do a lot more individual body part workouts, but now days I normally break it down by either upper body or lower body or a push, pull, legs 3 day schedule.
When you try to hit only one body part a day, if you end up missing a day, you become complacent and sometimes miss an entire week.
By breaking your workouts up by upper and lower body or push, pull, legs, it enables you to get creative and hit the entire body at least once a week in just 2 or 3 days or twice a week for those that have more time!
